Warehouse Management in Maintenix is augmented by the software’s detailed cradle-to-grave serialized tracking of components – be they on-wing or off-wing. This detailed level of record-keeping allows for powerful tracking of such characteristics as shelf life expiry, warranty, ownership, and actual cost.

Maintenix works hard to show the user the situations that need to be addressed using its To Do list functionality. For example, a user can be set up to see the “Stock Lows” list, which shows any depletions of inventory below the desired levels. In a similar way, lists are provided for such situations as pending shelf life expiries, items to be shelved or issued, items waiting to be inspected, and many more. This allows the user to log in and handle the situations that really matter right away, without having to dig through the system or navigate a report.

Maintenix also leverages current technologies to make activities in the warehouse quick and easy. Maintenix encourages the use of wireless barcode devices to provide real-time updates to the system from anywhere in the warehouse, without the need to seek out a terminal to record every single transaction.
