- Integrated Maintenance and Materials Management - Using Maintenix®, Materials and Maintenance personnel can achieve previously impossible levels of communication, and true coordination of their activities, beyond what other systems offer. Because Maintenix connects all locations of the Maintenance and Materials organizations together in a single system, material controllers have real-time visibility into parts availability anywhere in their organization, providing the widest possible selection of fulfillment options. Materials personnel can also assess the impact of changing maintenance schedules on their stock levels in real time, while Maintenance can update planned maintenance work based on the latest information about the availability of necessary parts.
- Accurate Stock Forecasting - Maintenix enables global management of spares quantities and stock leveling. The system monitors and supports all sources of material demands (from scheduled and estimated non-routines for Line, Heavy, and Shop Maintenance, and from local or global stock lows). These demands are communicated to, and aggregated by, the Materials department for accurate forecasting, stock management, and fulfillment.
