Maintenix User Community gathers for its 9th annual conference
Ottawa, Canada (November 5, 2015) – Mxi® Technologies recently hosted its user community for a three-day Maintenix User Group (MUG) Conference held in Montreal, Quebec. Made up of a record number of Mxi customer delegates and partners, the 2015 Maintenix User Group Conference supported a variety of events throughout the three day agenda, including:
Customer–led sessions: Mxi customers took the stage to share case studies and best practices on their use of Maintenix software to support their operations. Presentations from Cape Air, Qantas, Executive Jet Management, Southwest Airlines and BAE Systems covered a variety of topics related to aftermarket services, building scalable solutions, change leadership management, and eCertification – with each demonstrating the depth and breadth of the Maintenix software’s application across their maintenance organizations.
Defense User Group: The Defense User Group (DUG), brought together global representation with thirty members sharing community best practices around the implementation and use of the Maintenix software in the military and defense OEM industry.
Sessions & Breakouts: This year’s agenda featured several Mxi-led presentations with a focus on market outlook, the customer experience, product direction, and agile development. Users were able to see the latest product developments in connected workforce capabilities, production planning & control, 3rd Party MRO features, and hands-on demonstrations of the Maintenix solution.
Training & Workshops: Experts and educators were on-hand to help customers maximize the value of their existing Maintenix solution. A dedicated half day hands-on workshop session focused on the advantages of using the COTS-based training available through Mxi’s Learning Management System (LMS), a system designed to enhance and accelerate end-user adoption.
“From the first user conference held in 2006, the MUG has evolved to a point where, today, it is unequivocally the most important educational and networking event of the year for Maintenix users worldwide,” said Bill Cavitt, President and CEO, Mxi Technologies. “This conference offered our customers, partners, and employees unparalleled access to fellow aviation maintenance leaders, to glean best practices, share their experiences, knowledge and ideas for improving the way maintenance is conducted throughout the industry.”
