Ottawa, Canada (September 22nd, 2010) – Mxi Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today the commercial availability of Maintenix® Version 7.1 (v7.1). This latest commercial offering provides key functional enhancements and the availability of the new Premium Reporting Package to provide the most comprehensive solution in the marketplace to further support the sophisticated maintenance business requirements of airlines, defense organizations, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

In addition to individual feature enhancements to the Maintenix software’s already unparalleled functionality, v7.1 offers aviation maintenance organizations increased flexibility and management over the assembly of material kits. In further building industry-leading depth into the basic kits area found in previous versions, v7.1 allows for improved control over the business processes governing inventories and reduces the likelihood of technicians encountering incomplete or disassembled kits during maintenance tasks.

The Premium Reporting Package offers aviation maintenance professionals an out-of-the-box reports suite that provides a whole-picture view of their on-going maintenance operations and current fleet status through the capture and summary of the extensive information housed within the Maintenix database. Offering backwards compatibility to other recent Maintenix versions, the premium reports suite supports improved decision making through better use of existing data surrounding fleet usage, inventory, deferred and unplanned maintenance tasks, and compliance.
