Dave Seibel joined Mxi Technologies in December 2010. In his role, Dave is responsible for the overall management of Mxi operations, including research and development, services, sales, marketing, and finance and administration. Dave works with the Executive team to establish the vision and strategic direction for Mxi Technologies.
Dave brings with him over thirty years of experience in business strategy, planning, and organizational leadership, having previously held senior management positions within a number of top Canadian technology firms; most recently as Chairman and CEO of Accenture Canada. Complementary to his work in managing top technology companies, he has also served on the Boards at Ubiquity Software and BMB Fuels. Dave is also very active within the community and serves on a number of boards and committees for local and national charitable organizations.
Jeff Cass joined Mxi Technologies in 1996 as one of the original founders of the company. In his role, Jeff is responsible for fulfilling Mxi’s product vision through product management, research and development, and services research initiatives.
With over nineteen years of experience in the aerospace industry, Jeff has spent his entire career applying information technology innovation to solve the aviation industry’s maintenance problems, with the vast majority of that experience applied to commercial and defense aviation.
Jeff is a graduate, with High Distinction, of Carleton University’s Mechanical Engineering program.
Scott Helmer joined Mxi Technologies in January 2011. In his role, Scott is responsible for the finance and administration functions of the organization.
Scott brings fifteen years of experience as a finance professional with both public and private technology companies in the communications and information security markets. Prior to joining Mxi, Scott was the Chief Financial Officer of Galazar Networks, a privately held systems semiconductor company sold to Exar Corporation in 2009. He has also been a senior finance executive of publicly traded technology companies including ActivCard, Alcatel and Newbridge Networks. In addition to his financial leadership roles, Scott has served as an independent finance professional offering strategic financial advisory services to small- and medium-sized growth enterprises.
Scott is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.A. from the University of Waterloo.
Dave Curley joined Mxi Technologies in 2008. In his role, Dave is responsible for advancing the strategic marketing direction of Mxi and its aviation management products and services portfolio as well as driving global sales strategies and business development activities aimed at achieving Mxi’s growth objectives.
With over twenty-five years of experience in the software industry, Dave has a distinguished track record in a diversity of fields, ranging from telecom to defense. Prior to joining Mxi, Dave was Vice President of Marketing for QNX Software Systems, a real-time operating software provider. Dave has held positions as Chief Operating Officer at Texar Corporation, a security infrastructure software company; as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Bridgewater Systems, an access control software company for wireless and wireline service providers; and as Vice President of Marketing at Mitel Networks, a global provider of enterprise and small business communications solutions.
Dave is a regular guest speaker for the Queens University MBAST and Business Consulting program.
AJ Harris joined Mxi Technologies in 2007. In his role, AJ is responsible for the worldwide delivery of the Maintenix product, directing a large organization of architects, analysts, developers, project managers and trainers.
AJ has over fifteen years of experience in the implementation of large, enterprise class software for a variety of industry sectors including aviation, government, postal, military, high technology, finance and entertainment. Prior to joining Mxi AJ spent thirteen years working in the Professional Services division of Accenture. During that period he held a series of increasingly senior roles in a number of functions including operations, enterprise architecture, project control, and management.
AJ holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Physical Chemistry all from Queen’s University.
Nelson Quirk joined Mxi Technologies in 2009. In his role, Nelson is responsible for delivering outstanding technology and support solutions across all Mxi customer verticals through his management of the global customer support, technical solutions and information technology teams.
With over 18 year of IT industry experience, Nelson has held progressively senior positions across a variety of sectors including air navigation, technology, and Internet-based businesses. Prior to joining Mxi, Nelson served as Vice President, Network Operations at the Momentous Group of Companies, as well as Director IT, Operations and CSO at NUVO. His vast experience also includes senior-level roles with a number of top technology firms including NAV CANADA and Nortel Networks.
Nelson is a Business Technology graduate of Cape Breton University.
Rob Vandenberg joined Mxi Technologies in 1996 and is one of the original founders of the company. In his role, Rob is responsible for the design and development of the Maintenix product and its core technologies.
During his eighteen year career, Rob has gained extensive experience in the development of information systems for the aviation and industrial sectors, performing in a number of software architecture and management positions. During his time at Mxi he has held increasingly senior R&D positions, now covering architecture and technology, product design and development, software QA, and engineering support.
Rob holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Carleton University.
